Biography

Valeria Isaac is the owner of Neurosens, a laboratory dedicated to research and education in sensory integration. She graduated as an occupational therapist from the University of Chile and earned her Masters in Medical and Biological Sciences from the same university. She is currently a PhD candidate in Cognitive and Social Neuroscience.

Sensory Integration & Clinical Expertise

In the USA, she completed OT610, a clinical specialization course in sensory integration through the University of Southern California and Pediatric Therapy Network, and obtained certification in the Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests from Western Psychological Services.

She has more than 20 years of clinical experience working with children, particularly those with ADHD and learning disorders.

Research & Teaching

Valeria is currently dedicated to research and teaching, lecturing at international conferences.

Her lines of research include vestibular function and arousal regulation in ADHD symptoms, and the development of interoceptive awareness.
