At our congress, experienced national and international experts in the field will participate as speakers. Sensory integration and related functions will be addressed multidimensionally within the framework of different life stages, diagnostic groups, professional approaches, and everyday life contexts. In addition to sensory development and sensory integration processes from infancy to adulthood, sensory characteristics and sensory integration patterns in different diagnostic groups such as autism and cerebral palsy will be discussed.

Sensory integration will be approached from different professional perspectives such as occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy, and special education ; its relationship with developmental and environmental contexts such as attachment, trauma, social competence, play, and school life will also be addressed. In addition, various functions and assessment approaches related to sensory integration, including praxis, ideation, speech and language, sensory-motor processes, and physiological measurement , will be explored.

Throughout the congress, participants will have the opportunity to hear about and evaluate the role of sensory integration in individual development and daily life from a lifespan, interdisciplinary perspective encompassing different contexts .
