Biography

Rehab Zaytoun M.D. is a medical Doctor with Medical Doctorate in Phoniatrics. She is a Kasr Aini, Faculty of Medicine, Cairo University graduate. She received her master’s degree in communication, swallowing and voice disorders in 2011.

She received her Medical Doctorate in 2015 from Faculty of Medicine Cairo University. Rehab is currently an Associate Professor of Phoniatrics at Faculty of Medicine, Fayoum University.

Training & Professional Memberships

Rehab is currently a member of TalkTools’ speakers’ team. She is also a member of Hanen Society, Canada.

She is trained by Hanen in educating parents to support their children with language delay using: It Takes Two to Talk, More Than Words and Talkability programs.

Rehab is also trained by Debra Beckman in Oral Motor tissue release to improve feeding difficulties in different populations. She is also trained in the SOS approach for sensory-based feeding difficulties.

Clinical Practice & Professional Roles

Rehab is currently the head of Speech and Language department at the Learning Resource Center (LRC), Maadi.

She also owns CliniCare private practice in Cairo where she serves children and adults with different communication and feeding difficulties.

Rehab is also Speech, Language, Feeding and Oral Placement Therapy Consultant at ABLE UK Dubai.

Conferences & Speaking

Rehab is a regular speaker at local and international Phoniatrics conferences and congresses.
